FIRIDUN BEY KOCERLI AS A CRITIC

Abstract

“Criticism”, which has been met with the Word “tenkit" for many years, has become the preferred name in Turkey in recent
years. It should be noted that in Azerbaijan the term criticism is used not only in the sense of “criticizing a work of art by
evaluating its good and bad qualities” but in a broader sense. In addition to the criticism of literary works, all literary studies
and all literature research, analysis and studies have been included in the concept of criticism. In addition, studies of literary
theory have also been accepted within the critique. In this study, we will not discuss all the literary activities of Firidun Bey
Köçerli, but only the identity of the critic.
