Abstract

Mustafa b. Yusuf b. Ömer ed-Darir al-Erzeni’r-Rûmî, one of the most important poet and playwright of the 14th century and
mentioned to be Darir/Eyeless in the main sources because of his birth as blind, lived in different geographies such as Anatolia,
Syria and Egypt where Turkish was spoken. Since he was born and raised in Erzurum, he is known as Erzurumer ”; however,
our knowledge of his life is very limited due to lack of resources and limited knowledge of his works. Darîr, known for his
works, influenced poets who grew up after him with his works Kıssa-yı Yûsuf and Sîretü’n-Nebî. In this sense, it is necessary
to see Darîr as one of the founding figures of the Turkish literature under the influence of Islam that formed in Anatolia. This
importance of his works also manifests itself in his works and his works are a treasure for those who will study in this field due
to its influence on Turkish prose language. Due to the importance of his Works on the history of language research attracted
the attention of domestic and foreign researchers and many research works inspired by it.
This study includes a bibliography of the studies carried out on Kadı Darîr and his works in order to contribute to the
bibliography studies that are needed in scientific fields recently. For this purpose, books, theses, articles, papers, encyclopedia
articles, literary histories and similar works on Darîr and his works are categorized as bibliography and prepared as a
bibliography essay.
