Breast cancer is the most common and most killing disease for women in the world, that’s why it’s an important public health
problem. The importance of breast cancer, which causes 522,000 deaths every year in the world, is increasing with the help of
today's technology in the early stages and early diagnosis decreases the incidence of breast cancer. It’s important to identify
the high-risk disease and inform women about risk factors In the early diagnosis of breast cancer. Female gender and advanced
age are among the most important risk factors that increase breast cancer. All women may develop breast cancer by 12.5%
until 85 years of age. These risk rates are not the same for all women. The general population consists of women without any
risk exposure. Women with increased risk are women with a family history or any exposure. The approach and screening
intervals for these women should be different. Therefore, it is necessary to know the risk factors and raise awareness of breast
health. It is one of the most important tasks of the nurses who play an important role in providing health services to the patients
and their families to raise awareness about breast cancer for the early diagnosis. The way to reduce mortality and morbidity in
breast cancer is to bring behaviors that insure improved society health by nurses.
