THE INFLUENCE OF NUTRITION KNOWLEDGE LEVEL OF THE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS OF THE FREQUENCY OF THE FOLLOWING THE BROADCASTING

Television has had a growing audience since the people entered their lives. In addition to television, there are also social media programs, which are now being influenced by advertising and have a growing audience. It is known that university students have more social activities between the other ages, and in some cases are more related to the environment than other age groups. This research has been conducted to measure the influence of university students' of the frequency of following the broadcasting on nutrition knowledge level. Survey questions were also included in the study, including socio-demographic information of students and nutrition news. Survey questions has been applied to 120 students participated in the study totaly. Within the scope of the study, it was researched which broadcasting organs of the students constituting the sample followed and whether nutrition information changed. In our study, it was determined that university students followed the internet daily (97.5%) and tv in second rate. The result is that there is no significant relationship between the frequency of watching television, radio, newspapers, magazines, scientific journals and internet with nutrition knowledge level
