Abstract

The Palestine issue is a regional issue that concerns not only the Middle Eastern geography, but also all the Muslims worldwide. It has become an international issue that is paid attention especially by super powers directing the international system in a short time. Being an important problem of the Islam world; the Palestine issue is also supported by various Muslim countries, especially by the Republic of Turkey. The most important support units in our country are political parties. Among these political parties, the Free Cause Party that has a significant influence especially in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions has a different position in the Palestine issue owing to their Islamic Kurdish identity. The main goal of this study is to examine the approach of the Free Cause Party, which gives a remarkable support to the Palestine issue and is one of the Islamic parties in our country, to the Palestine issue.
