The target of the research is to determine the opinions of music teacher candidates about the guidance of music teachers working in the practice schools where they are within the scope of the school experience and teaching practice course in the music teaching undergraduate program. For this purpose, positive and negative opinions of music teacher candidates about practice teachers are determined. The research is conducted as a descriptive qualitative field study. In this context, 133 music teacher candidates in the study group are asked to answer the open-ended questions created in order to Express their positive and negative views on the contribution of music teachers in practice schools to the process. The written opinions of the music teacher candidates regarding the questions posed are analyzed through qualitative research techniques. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the music teacher candidates have positive opinions about the practice teachers’ communication with the students while they have negative opinions about their lesson preparation in advance
