Hegemonic, Bio-politic, and DramaturgicalAbstract
Power structures that dominate social life form a hegemonic structure by making the individual’s self passive with a continuous field of interaction to create a discipline, control, and control mechanism in the political field when social norms are obtaining legitimacy in different areas in different periods, it becomes almost impossible to talk about a systematic truth while trying to hold its own theory the conditions of each period open up all possible probabilities of influencing social life. The power that tries to surround daily life with a bio-political web can sometimes turn into as much intertwined as it is displayed on a theatre stage and sometimes as surreal as visual fiction creates.
The objective of this study is to try to evaluate the basic concepts of the dramaturgical approach which was developed by Erving Goffman with the movie “In Time”, starring Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake. A social narrative or an imagination that idealizes the limits of capitalism can turn into practice by starting to surround the individual self in daily life.
