Social capacity is a paradigm that examines the interactions between the human and social capital of a region and its physical and financial resources. It is suggested in the literature that this perception of paradigm affects the development of areas have tourism potential. In this study, empirically investigated whether the social capacity perception affects the tourism potential perception. Judgmental sampling is used as sampling method. Questionnaire was used as data collection method. The questionnaires were obtained with the technique of the centenary. In the analysis of the data, SPSS program was used. Descriptive statistics, regression and variance analyzes were used in the analyzes. As a result, local governance and partnership, local investment, adaptation of young population and entrepreneurship perceptions have positively and significantly influenced the tourism potential perceptions of local people.
