Abstract

Traditional food culture is as influential as South Korea’s commitment to its historical values to maintain contemporary
ceramics culture based on its historical traditions. This article discusses the relationships between South Korean ceramics and
food culture in terms of their historical and contemporary dimensions, and also offers examples of research, patent studies,
organizational and sectoral contributions, cultural and artistic policies, and education and training activities that support the
prevalence of ceramics socially. In examining the diversity and functional advantages of ceramic kitchen utensils and dining
table ceramics used in food preparation depending on cuisine, it is understood that ceramic goods are an indispensable element
in the daily lives of Koreans in terms of culture and science. By focusing on ceramics, on its journey of culture-oriented
development and global branding, the article examines the traces of South Korea’s historical continuity despite external factors;
the Korean philosophy of life based on scientific thought, research, and development; and the traces of the unity of the nation
in the integrity of education systems and in its global stance and dialogues. The country globally serves as an example of how
to plan studies conducted on the specific culture of any nation.
