The main objective of the national economies is to increase the total welfare of the people of the country by exhibiting a stable and inclusive economic growth performance. In this respect, economic growth has been one of the most important elements of the development and progress of human history. With the Industrial Revolution, the evolution of the gains of natural sciences and technology in the production processes with each passing day has revealed different aspects of the capitalist order. With the end of the Second World War, many countries in the OECD today have experienced a process that has been continuing for nearly 30 years and known as tarih thirty brilliant years ”in terms of economic historians. This period of abundance has made the idea that economic differences between countries can be closed in a short time with necessary and correct moves.
The automotive sector is one of the sectors serving as a locomotive in terms of its contribution to economic growth, employment and some other macroeconomic indicators for many countries. In the studies conducted in the context of industrial economics for the automotive sector, analyzes are conducted on the relationship between the market structure and the economic performance. The main purpose of the study in terms of Turkey's economy in the axis of the main determinants of economic growth is to demonstrate the importance of the automotive sector and its contribution in the growth
