Income distribution refers to the distribution of national income in a country within a certain period between individuals, social groups and production factors. One of the most important social problems of today is the injustice in the distribution of income. The aim of this study is to reveal the perceptions of poverty and income distribution of household members on the scale of Bilecik in terms of poverty indicators. A questionnaire was applied to 120 randomly selected households to provide data to the study. It was concluded that there was high inflation and unfair tax distribution as the main reason of income distribution disorder and poverty. It has also been shown that raising the level of education of the labour factor is necessary to eliminate poverty. There were not many individuals in poor and needy situations in Bilecik province. It was stated that there were differences between the occupational groups in the responses to the questions
