In this study, the functional meanings of interrogative sentences in children's poems were determined and interpreted with the power of interpretation. Interrogative sentences are classified as real interrogative sentences and pseudo-interrogative sentences. This classification scale was analyzed in the context of the text and analyzed at the semantic level. It has been seen that the existence of some elements in the communication channels contributes to the meaning-making process in the determination of the distinctive function. It has been determined that the question element that appears through question suffixes and question words adds a semantic depth and aesthetic value to the text. In the poetic texts scanned by the compilation method, the purpose of the establishment of the real interrogative sentences and the so-called interrogative sentences has been taken into account, in which the interrogative sentences have more than one meaning apart from the interrogative meaning. The main purpose of the study is to examine the question sentences in children's poems in the context of the text and to reveal the scope of their functional meaning.
