Abstract

This dissertation is aimed to explain individual’s search for meaning in every day life based on the book of Augustinus “İtiraflar”. Despite the existentialist crises of life, Augustinus looks fort he true meaning and the worth of life, as well as genuine happiness and a peaciful life. He draws attention to the importance of the confession and beliefs, in which people admir their sins end good deeds, to their individual transformations and overcoming their existentialist problems.
