Utopia is an alternative to a number of situations in the flow of real life. Utopia emerges as a reaction to inequality and injustice. Escape is the most important characteristic of utopia. The utopia, which is seen as a place to be sheltered, has been the subject of works of many poets and writers. Tevfik Fikret is one of the most important poets of the Servet-i Fünûn period. Fikret's poems dominate the mood of the oppressive environment of the period. This pessimism is also reflected in his nature. The characteristic feature of Servet-i Fünun school is also pessimism and sentimentalism. Due to all these reasons, escape from the pessimism and the need for an asylum stand out at Tevfik Fikret's poems. Tevfik Fikret, a poet who cannot see the value he deserves in his time, reflects the problem of this obligatory reclusion in his poems. He escapes from the moody atmosphere and flees into a world of imagination and light. The idea of escape is one of the most important determining themes of Tevfik Fikret's poems. In Rübab-ı Şikeste, there are many poems in which this theme gains importance. The need for asylum in a utopian town takes the poet away from the moody atmosphere of the time
