Abstract

In this study; the open green areas directly affecting the construction of the towns in the physical sense have been examined within the Karabağlar district center.For this purpose, open green areas in the district center are analyzed and evaluated in the present and the plan.the framework of these assessments, how should open and green areas be planned in the context of a system in a district or an entire city? The answer was searched.As a result of the research, it has been determined that the green area per person 5 per square meter has fallen.This value is below the targeted amount on the strategic plan by both the standard stipulated in the current zoning legislation and the district administrations.Another result obtained within the scope of the research is that there is no green tissue proposal in the district within the scope of zoning plans.The research first focused on preserving and improving the existing open and green area of the city. A systematic proposal has been developed by taking the open and green areas of the district and its vicinity in the context of landscape planning principles.
