Family businesses are considered as one of the pioneers of economic structuring and sustainable development. There are different levels of managerial problems in family businesses as the structures in which management decision-making mechanisms are gathered in family members. One of these problems is favoritism. Nephrology refers to the fact that individuals are removed from the point of objective criteria and evaluated according to a subjective criterion. This study aims to investigate the effect of nepotism activities on whistleblowing which is evaluated as sharing of business information of individuals in family businesses.
