The world population is rapidly aging and the number of elderly people is increasing day by day. Development, with life-long progression and a decline in a certain age range, the process results in death. Increased health problems with aging, decreased functional abilities, loss of social status and loss of spouse and friends negatively affect the adaptation of the elderly to the old ages. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the effects of remembering therapy on elderly persons with a fear of death. Within the framework of the public health nursing practice, it was decided to apply recall therapy to the 81-year-old female elderly person during the home visits. The elderly individual expressed his satisfaction at the end of the visits. It is thought that loneliness and emotional difficulties experienced by elderly individuals can be reduced by the method of remembrance therapy
