The Ilıca area, which came under Turkish rule with the Saruhanoğulları Principality and has been the scene of settlement since ancient times, has become an area where various agricultural products, especially cereals and legumes, are produced thanks to its fertile land. In the study based on the cereal and legume production in the Ilıca area in the 16th century, the conditions of wheat, barley, vetch, millet, paddy, chickpea, lentil, and cowpea, which were determined to be grown in the district, were discussed in the first and second half of the century. It is determined that wheat is the most grown cereal in the region, followed by barley, and chickpea is the most widely grown legume. Although there is an increase in production in general, there is a decrease in the production amounts of products such as barley and millet. In the study, the main sources of which are the cadastral registers, and the general agricultural production of the Ilıca district is also briefly mentioned.
