SOME SYMBOLS AND BODY LANGUAGES USED IN THE COMİCS

Abstract

The first encounter of human beings with painting began with the transfer of objects that he saw in nature to some of the goods by associating them with emotion. The lines have been transformed into communication tools for many years, not by their appearance but by their coming together and systematically recognizing them. The line language, which consists of linear figures, has become an art that conveys a fact, a situation, a message over time. The language of comic book differs greatly from other literary genres because the expressions in the text are transmitted in geometric shapes on the pages. According to the narrative situation, information is usually given in squares and rectangles, and dialogues are given in bubbles. The story is sometimes told by the autor himsel or sometimes by the third person singular. Sometimes in a comic book a picture of a book is like a summary of what can be described on a few pages. From the narrative characteristics of the comic strip we will study how the visual and corporal language are located and what they want to say in the squares of the comic strip.
