Abstract

Strategic management is considered as a form of management that is effective in the success of the enterprises and ensures its effectiveness in sustainable competition. Institutionalization is a long-term work that enables the enterprise that derives its foundation from institutional economics to make its environment active, to ensure sustainability, to reduce uncertainties and to live as a social entity. In the literature review, it was observed that there were few studies examining the relationship between strategic management and institutionalization. From this point of view, this study aims to answer the basic research question “Is there a relationship between strategic management and institutionalization? Buradan. In this study, it was aimed to determine the relationship between institutionalization and strategic management in enterprises. The basic hypothesis put forward in the study; H1: There is a positive relationship between strategic management and institutionalization. The study is an empirical research. In this study, survey technique was used as data collection tool. 212 return was obtained from the employees of the banking sector enterprises in Isparta province determined by simple random method. Analyzes were made based on the obtained returns. According to the results of regression analysis, there is a positive and statistically significant relationship between strategic management and institutionalization.
