THE EFFECT OF TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENTS IN THE ARTISTRECEIVER MEETING

Abstract

With this study, with the concept of exhibiting art Works on the internet, which is called the e-galleries or virtual galleries,
which is the latest trend of today’s art, by briefly touching on the effects of technology that changes daily life and society life
into a new form. The differences between the traditional art galleries are emphasized, and the survey and the results of the art
presenter, art buyer and art gallery owners are mentioned. A questionnaire was applied to 837 people and the related factors
were identified. The analysis of these factors showed that the process of transitioning to virtual galleries brought the culture of
art galleries to the extinction and started to bring the artist-receiver meeting of the 21st century into a different and virtual
environment. Both the results of the study and the developments that are taking place today, the transfer of technology into a
virtual revolution and the future of the virtual environments, biennials, triennials, exhibition halls, art partly commenced
commercialization, partly liberated and the ability to reach more art buyers won.
