With the rapid development of transportation and communication technologies, globalization emerges as an unavoidable process. Since globalization has a wide range of impacts, it is being discussed by many different segments of the society, from researchers of different sciences to policy makers.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of economic, social and political globalization in countries with different income levels on the global economic power of countries using panel data analysis method and using period of 2000-2013. According to the results obtained, it has been determined that different globalization channels at different income levels are effective in being global economic power. According to the estimation results; economic globalization in the high income group, social globalization in the middle-high income group; and political globalization in middle-low income group have been found to have a positive effect on becoming global powers. According to research results, globalization has negative effects on low income countries
