A RESEARCH ON THE EVALUATION OF TOURISM OPPORTUNITIES OF BEYSEHIR LAKE AND ITS ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to examine the tourism potential of Lake Beysehir and its surroundings based on the views of various experts in the region. The research was applied to some specialists who were selected in the region with a semi-structured interview form designed for qualitative research type. In the research, Purpose sampling method which is one of the qualitative research methods was applied and relevant experts have been selected for a certain purpose. In the research, a semi-structured interview form with 5 questions under the single theme title was prepared and opinions were received about the tourism potential of the Beyşehir lake and its surroundings from the relevant experts. According to the results obtained from the research, it is understood that Beyşehir and its surroundings have many resources that can be offered both for domestic and foreign tourism. It has been determined that if these resources are used well enough, they can be important contributions to both the region and the country. This research will reveal the tourism potential of Beysehir and its environs as well as a data source that entrepreneurs can use to invest in this region
