Migration can be defined as crossing either international or national borders. There is two general categories as internal migration and external migration. In Turkey, there are asylum seekers and refugees who are increasingly in contact with the external migration due to war, conflict and instability in their countries. This has led Turkey to renew its migration policies and legal regulations. In this context, there are two outstanding laws and regulations. These are the Foreigners and International Protection Law and the Temporary Protection Regulation. In this study, these two legal arrangements were examined from a social work point of view and tried to be critically examined. These two legal regulations are discussed under the headings of Psychosocial Services, Shelter, Access to Health Services, Access to Work Life, Social Adaptation and Education. As a result of the reviews and evaluations made, it appears that some problems have been experienced in the implementation of the new legislation, even though it offers innovation and better services in many areas. It is very important to have adequate and comprehensive legal arrangements for a country that is continuing to rapidly migration-receiving like Turkey.
