A RESEARCH ON CRIME AND VIOLENCE ACTIVITIES AFFECTED BY THE PROJECT OF KONYA

Abstract

The rapid increase of the industrialization has brought about radical changes within the social structure of the ending cities. As a result of immigration to the cities from rural areas, the population of the cities has increased. As a result, many new threats, especially "crimes" that affect people's social life, have come to the fore. Crimes are defined as actions that have been defined in law and have criminal sanctions. Investigations on crime show that different variables are influential on crime, especially people's age, marital status, occupation, place of residence, fluctuations in economic and political situation, geographical conditions. Crime presents differences in the quality and quantity of gathering from the society provided that it evolves in time and space.
In our study; the concept of crime, which is a major threat to the social life of today, will be emphasized. Measures to be taken within the scope of combating crime and crime, which has become an important problem in our country, will try to provide solutions on crime and social risk map.
