INVESTIGATING THE PIANO EXAM ANXIETY OF THE STUDENTS WITH LOW SUCCESS LEVEL IN PIANO (A CASE STUDY)

In this study it is aimed that to investigate the piano exam anxiety level of the students whose have been failed in piano final exams by having low grades. Survey method has been used in this study. Piano Exam Anxiety Questionnaire developed by Kurtuldu (2009) have been applied to the 50 students who failed in piano final exam. Grades of the students who filled the questionnaire taken from the final exams have been obtained from student information system and have been analysed. Questionnaire results obtained from study group consist of 50 students has been evaluated by grouping 4 different tittles. Obtained data and collected grades has been compared, determinations about anxiety level has been made. Informations about obtained data studied to explain whereby the tables. When the data has been investigated it is found that anxiety level of 50 students who have failed by having low grades has been found as high. Only 5 student’s anxiety level has been founded as low or middle, on the other hand 45 student’s anxiety level is high. According to the comparing measurement results about class level there is no significant meaning. Class level is not effective element on the exam anxiety and success relation
