The right to education is a right given to all people. Everyone should benefit equally from this right. However, some groups may not benefit from this right. The first reason for this is the education system. The second reason is due to them, and the third reason is the social stigmatization. Especially gypsies do not benefit from this right. Thus, this problem continues to stratify.
This study was conducted with Istanbul Yakuplu Gypsies. Gypsy families were interviewed in depth. Semi-structured form is used. The data obtained as a result of in-depth interviews were evaluated. Gypsy problems experienced in the educational process were discussed.
