In the 21. century, in which Information and communication technology are very important, the need to learn foreign languages has also increased and knowing one or more foreign languages, knowing and understanding different cultures has become a necessity for every society. This rapid change and development in the world bring new information, new technologies and new approach styles with it every day. The most important factor for lifelong learning to become sustainable will be for the education system to implement a method that educates individuals with 21st century skills. The educational equipment that students will need in educational systems is necessary for the education system to achieve its goals. Based on this point of view, it is aimed to review the benefits and difficulties of integrating Web 2.0 technologies into foreign language classes in the study. The study was created by using qualitative research methods, literature review and document review. As a result of the study, it has been concluded that Web 2.0 tools are very effective in the development of foreign language skills, which are one of the most important skills of the 21. Century for students; although there are various difficulties in using Web 2.0 tools in language teaching, their benefits are much greater. Based on these results, it can be suggested that more effective and permanent teaching can be carried out by giving more space to Web 2.0 tools in the teaching of English as a foreign language.
