REVIEW OF ACADEMICIAN PROFILES IN PRIVATE SECURITY PROGRAMS

The aim of this study special security departments at universities in Turkey / programs in which academics' task is to reveal the profile. Faculty members working in these departments and programs at universities were analyzed according to some variables. Academic CVs of private security and protection program faculty members operating in 47 universities were examined on the web. The data were obtained by conducting the documentation review, which is a qualitative research technique. The obtained data were subjected to content analysis.
According to the results of the analysis, it was determined that the number of male lecturers was quantitatively more. When examined according to their titles, it was seen that the number of lecturers with the title of the lecturer was high and there were lecturers studying at a graduate level according to their graduation. It has been observed that private security and protection programs are opened and given training only in state universities
