The Fourth Industrial Revolution, known as Industry 4.0, is the evolution of the machines used in industry from the man-machine dilemma to the machine-machine dilemma. In this dilemma, the human element only falls into the position of writing algorithms to the machine, and in dark factories, the production process is carried out by intelligent machines. Industry 4.0 application refers to the use of evolved technology. This practice is often seen in industrialized countries, but in developing countries, it finds new meaning. The study examined the literature known as the qualitative research method and examined individual countries applying the technology by considering continents at the world level, and then analyzed the applications in Turkey. This study, it is aimed to raise awareness about the extent to which Industry 4.0 applications are understood in the world and in Turkey and how ready the sectors are for this transformation.
