Abstract

Handicrafts are one of the most important elements of material culture in societies. Handicrafts have a rich variety in Anatolian society. Jewelry arts, which are among handicrafts, also constitute an important part of traditional handicrafts. Bracelets, which are among the jewelry of Anatolian women, are accessories that women carry with great pleasure regardless of their status, income, and cultural level. Bracelet is a ring made of metals such as gold, silver, copper, or any other material and worn on the wrist for decoration. This study, it is aimed to determine the bracelets exhibited in the ethnographic products exhibition hall of Nevşehir Museum by examining them in terms of technique, size, raw material, motif, decoration subjects, and composition features. The sample of the study consists of 7 bracelets. The reason for choosing such a subject is that a study on bracelets in the Nevşehir museum has not been done before.
