The aim of this study is to examine texts and activities in Turkish textbooks prepared for 6th and 7th grades by comparing them according to the areas of intelligence in the Theory of Multiple Intelligence, determine whether the level of inclusion of intelligence fields in the 6th and 7th grade Turkish textbooks differs according to publishers and classes. The universe of the study consists of 6th and 7th grade Turkish textbooks that are decided to be taught as of the 2019-2020 academic year in 2736 and 2740 issues of the Journal of Announcements of the Ministry of National Education dated 2019; and the sample of the study consists of four Turkish textbooks prepared for these class levels, one of which is published by the Ministry of National Education and one by the private sector. Document analysis method which is one of the qualitative research methods was used in the study and the data obtained were interpreted for each intelligence field in separate tables. According to the results of the study, it was found that the most common area of intelligence in the 6th and 7th grade Turkish textbooks is language intelligence with a significant difference and the most neglected area of intelligence is physical intelligence. In addition to this, it was determined that texts and activities that address the fields of logical-mathematical intelligence, visual-spatial intelligence, kinesthetic intelligence, and intrapersonal intelligence in the 6th grade Turkish textbooks are more common than the 7th grade Turkish textbooks; that the level of inclusion of intelligence fields only has a significant difference in social intelligence according to publishers and that this difference is in favor of Turkish textbooks published by the Ministry of National Education.
