Abstract

During the period of the Soviet Socialist Republics Union, areas and public spaces where daily life practices take place and were designed and planned by the official ideology for the ideological construction of "Soviet people". In this process, art and works of art were used as ideological tools. This work will be analyzed objects selected from many sculptures and murals in Bishkek, the capital of the Soviet-era Kyrgyzstan Republic, from the point of view of semiotics approaches and Louis Althusser's definition of ideology as ideological functions and ideological indicators
