Abstract

Photography; On the one hand, visual communication is one of the most important elements, on the other hand; its aesthetic aspect is a fun attitude. When viewed from this perspective, the photograph; is divided into various categories according to the purpose of use, types. It can also be said that new species will emerge and will emerge according to the developing and changing technology and the spirit of the age. Accordingly, the photo; manifests itself in different genres such as human photography, documentary photography, fashion photography, street photography, photo photography, underwater photography, aerial photography, animal photography, food photography, art photography, photography, advertising photographs, digital travel photographs, photojournalism.

Due to the spirit of the age, more time is spent outside, on the street, in the city. Life takes shape, encounters, and contrasts occur. According to this, there is the street formation and flow. Public spaces, buildings, walls, roads, people, traffic, etc. While the chaos is an important texture of crowded city streets; Quiet neighborhood houses and streets create a more calm and sincere perception. Streets; have the potential to provide alienating and organic effects by being in the here and now at the same time. They create a dynamic space by gathering the past, present, and future time periods in the street.

This year, it was aimed to research street photographs and the processes of creating meaning in photography from the 1990s to the present, on the works of photography arts. The relationship between photography types and street photographs, the historical development of street photography, and other types of photography will be tried to be revealed
