Divan poetry is seen as a great value in terms of covering poets who lived and worked in different periods. The poems written in these different periods of Divan poetry have special importance in terms of both the style and the words and metaphors used in the poems. When the poems we encounter as a reflection of the influence of poets who lived in different centuries from each other on many issues are examined, it is seen that some poets were influenced by the poets they chose as examples for themselves in many ways. Nesîmî, who is one of the leading artists who influenced poets, appears as a poet who has drawn attention in many periods of divan poetry, both with his life story and the expressions he used in his poems. Nesîmî's poems, which continued to be influential in other periods as well as in his own period, were taken as examples by many poets. One of these poets is Şeyhî, who lived in the 15th century. When Şeyhî's poems are examined, it is noticed that the words and mystical expressions he uses are similar to the words and phrases used in Nesîmî's poetry. This similarity brought about the similarity of style. When the poems of both poets are compared, it is seen that Şeyhî reflected the style of Nesîmî, who lived in the previous century, into his own poems. In this study, the poems of Nesîmî and Şeyhî were examined and the use of words and the similarities in style in the poems of both poets were compared.
