Equally distributed to all individuals, time is a unique resource that cannot be stopped, transferred, or saved. Although the importance of time management is known by almost everyone, ineffective and unproductive use of time may cause various problems in the education and business life of individuals. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the time management skills of health services vocational school students differ based on demographic variables.
The study group consists of 773 students studying at Sakarya University Vocational School of Health Services. The data on time management was obtained through the “Time Management Questionnaire” developed by Britton and Tesser and undergoing Turkish validity and reliability study by Alay and Koçak (2002) as well as the personal information form for the demographic characteristics prepared by the researchers. Based on the evaluation of the findings, it was concluded that while the participants’ time management attitudes differed statistically by gender, they did not do so by grade, type of education, and daily average free time.
