Leaders and managers play an important role in creating an atmosphere and culture of enthusiasm and productivity among employees that help them do what they need to do. Most of today's large companies offer motivation courses, training, boost meetings and incentives to empower millions of employees every year, meetings to analyze problems in workforce motivation, tools to measure motivation, mission statement, etc. spends time on it.
In this study, the perceptions of the employees of the companies in the textile sector about the motivation factors and how this is related to their leadership styles were examined. It has been determined that “how different leadership styles affect the motivation level of the employees of the textile sector companies in the Fatih region of Istanbul” and it is aimed to find an answer to the following main questions:
How do employees perceive the relationship between motivation and leadership?
Are employees internally or externally motivated?
What motivates employees in the textile industry?
What are leaders doing now and what should they do in the future to motivate their employees?
The research is aimed to investigate the relationship of the textile industry with motivation, which is considered on the basis of leadership styles, about which leadership style increases motivation and which leadership style decreases motivation.
