This work was written by the French enlightenment thinker J.J. Rousseau's famous work "The Social Contract" aims to examine and discuss how he handled and developed the idea of justice and equality and the contribution or criticism of the social thinkers of the period. At the same time, the basic ideas of Rousseau's social contract will be examined to form a perspective in the study. Another aim of the article is to try to show the similarities between the equality in Aristotle's idea of distributive justice and the equality advocated by the social contract, or how the similarity is. Another issue to be examined in the study is to question the reasons for not including groups (women…) that are not included in the social contract (Rousseau).
