In this study; what global warming is, which gases cause global warming, problems caused and possible by global warming, its effects on living and human life and our country, studies and suggestions against global warming are included. There is no doubt that one of the biggest problems of the last century is global warming. The fact that gases such as carbon dioxide are released into the atmosphere by humans creates a greenhouse effect and causes an increase in temperature on the earth's surface and in the earth's crust is called global warming. In fact, this phenomenon, called the Greenhouse effect, is a natural situation, but as a result of people releasing harmful gases into the atmosphere, the Greenhouse balance is disturbed and warming is experienced. Global warming, which changes the world's climate system, directly affects every part of the world. There are some consequences caused by global warming from the equator to the poles. The most important of these results is
the melting of the glaciers at the poles. The melting of the glaciers in the polar regions due to global warming will cause the sea level to rise in the region and naturally the coastal areas in the region will be completely submerged. This situation, which reduces the habitable areas on Earth, is an important danger for the whole world. Another consequence of global warming is the increase in the intensity and frequency of floods and hurricanes in some regions. On the contrary, some regions experience severe droughts and even desertification due to extreme and long temperatures. In short, depending on global warming, climate characteristics are changing very severely and rapidly. In addition, the change in seasonal transitions is a result of global warming. It would be appropriate to apply simple formulas individually to prevent global warming. The natural disasters observed as a result of the global warming phenomenon complicate the living conditions of plants and animals, especially human life. It is estimated that these sudden, extreme and drastic changes in the world's climate system will not leave land for agriculture and land to live in after 130-140 years.
