This article, it is aimed to investigate how blockchain technology, which has been successfully used in all sectors and has produced beneficial results at every stage of the supply chain, is used and can be used in the processes in the aviation industry. Blockchain technology has been successfully used in many fields of activity in the aviation industry, starting with ticket sales, baggage tracking, aircraft repair maintenance, payment systems, and cargo tracking. Companies that incorporate blockchain technology into their supply chain processes in the aviation industry have begun to gain a competitive advantage. Because blockchain technology has the potential to increase transaction speeds, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. In the article, the effects of blockchain technology on the aviation industry were investigated by literature review and document review methods. As a result, it is seen that blockchain technology has started to be used intensively in the aviation sector. Some popular applications that can be given as examples of blockchain applications in the aviation industry are applications such as Further Network, Aeron, Loyyal and Winding Tree. These blockchain-based applications appear as applications that will provide a competitive advantage to aviation companies, satisfy customers, increase transaction speeds, reduce costs and increase customer experiences
