Abstract

In this study, the problems encountered in the implementation of guidance services in schools are discussed. The subject of guidance has been the subject of many studies. Guidance service is teamwork that requires professionalism. If the team spirit is not worked on, the expected results in guidance services cannot be achieved. In counseling services; The duties of the school principal, vice principal, classroom guidance teacher and psychological counselor are clearly stated in the regulation. It is to determine the problems encountered while providing guidance services in schools. This study includes guidance studies in line with the data of the research. This research was carried out in order to comprehensively examine the studies conducted in Turkey on the problems encountered in the execution of guidance services in schools between 2001-2015. For this purpose, it includes examining, classifying and revealing the characteristics of a large number of data obtained from YÖK Thesis Center and Google Scholar, aiming by applying the scanning method and analyzing the study data (doctorate and master's theses) using document analysis method. The results of the research, under the title of the problems arising from the physical conditions and possibilities, determined the first problem area; Problems such as the lack of guidance service, the lack of tools and equipment in the existing guidance service, and the lack of a room where meetings and presentations can be made stand out.
