ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE GRAPHIC DESIGN INDUSTRY

Abstract

Scientists and researchers are constantly working on technology for the future of the world. Artificial intelligence technology (AI) is one of these areas. Nowadays, it is actively used in many fields such as banking, art and design, transportation, communication, media, defense, agriculture and industry with technologies such as machine learning, automation and the Internet of things. Artificial intelligence, which has become a part of our lives, is described for some as a breakthrough technology, a system that will take on the work of humanity and cause great harm to others, and for others as the solution to everything. According to scientists and futurists, this technological development is considered both frightening and promising. Artificial intelligence technology is seen as a technology that can override people by making our lives easier on the one hand, and on the other hand, it is seen as a technology that can help us by making our lives easier on the other. As a result, it is clear that under both conditions artificial intelligence will be involved in our lives from now on and will have a lot of potentials. Thanks to its outstanding success in analytical analysis and cognitive abilities, this technology has been used in graphic design and other art fields. In this study, the description and concept of artificial intelligence, history, and future of artificial intelligence, impact on graphic design, and current applications were examined and the relationship between artificial intelligence and graphic design was investigated.
