Abstract

The school has a critical importance for the personality and character development of the individual. In general, the socialization of the individual starts with the pre-school period, but for the first time, the use of communication elements in a large community is real during the school period! is attached. Therefore, it can be said that the first and most important step in the socialization journey of the individual is the school environment. Enculturation, which is the process of transferring cultural values ​​to individuals, is clearly experienced in the school environment. Establishing the basic balances in terms of influencing and changing the individual from birth to death in accordance with the wishes and expectations of the society is formed through enculturation. As a result, school facilities and elements have considerable importance in terms of socialization and acculturation. As result of this research, it is aimed to reveal the effect of the school environment on the individual's socialization process and change/transformation through acculturation.
