An important name of Turkish literary history Namık Kemal's work called 'İntibah' and Cuniçiro Tanizaki's 'Key', one of the first names of Japanese literature, were examined by psychoanalytic method, and a comparative study was carried out. From psychoanalytic theories, it was aimed to give an example of reading together of different kinds of literature, and it was aimed to present a universal perception by showing that some of the individuals of different cultures are common.
