Abstract

The aim of this research is to conduct a literature review by examining the studies on multiculturalism in education in Turkey between 2010-2020 in terms of multicultural education policies. In the research, the general survey model, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. Within the scope of the research, theses and articles made in the field of multicultural education between 2010-2020 were examined. Document analysis and content analysis of the data were made, and the findings were interpreted with graphics and tables, and then the results were reached. In the results of the research; research on multicultural education has increased greatly in recent years; the research was carried out with quantitative methods in general; the number of studies evaluating equality of opportunity in education is sufficient; however, it has been found that the studies evaluating the curricula (curriculum) are insufficient in quantity and cannot be fully reflected in the curricula.
