Augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) applications, which are the basic elements of Industry 4.0, have started to come to the fore within the scope of tourism 4.0 in the tourism sector. It is seen that AR and VR applications have started to be used in many areas of tourism. In this context, the aim of the study is; Bibliometric analysis of national scientific studies related to AR and VR in the tourism sector. Within the scope of the research; A national literature review was conducted. As a result of the scans; Scientific studies such as theses, papers, boks, and articles were evaluated. At the end of the research; It has been determined that studies such as theses, papers, boks, and articles published on the concepts of AR and VR in the tourism sector in Turkey have been made in the last 5 years. Within the framework of Tourism 4.0 of the studies; It has been determined that it is associated with general tourism as well as with the branches of tourism. It has been observed that the studies carried out are quite insufficient in terms of both number and subject diversity. It has been understood that studies on AR and VR in the tourism sector are still in their infancy. However, it is anticipated that studies on AR and VR, which are a concept of Tourism 4.0 and Tourism 4.0, will increasingly continue.
