This study consists of the evaluation of Hz. Omar's understandings from Qur'an and the provisions that were made by The Prophet (p.b.u.h) in accordance with His (p.b.u.h.) apprehensions from Qur'an, the provisions He (p.b.u.h.) had experienced Himself (p.b.u.h.) or found appropriate when it was made by another companion, shortly with His (p.b.u.h) Sunnah, in perspective respect. Certainly, there were provisions that Hz. Omar understood from Qur’an as well. He was undoubtedly a judge. Other companions such as Hz. Ali didn’t object to this. Likewise, he was not a forerunner of despotism, with his harsh temperament. On the contrary, it is seen throughout this study that he is a person who is a wonder of mental reasoning. For when the time came, he could leave a decision he had made himself with the advice of a slave. Therefore, it seems that his approach to the problems was in the complete array from the point of view of reason and narration.
