Each society has its own traditional cultural structure. Practices such as traditions and customs within this cultural structure reflect the values of the societies in which they live. One of the applications within the cultural structure is folk dances. It is seen that folk dances performed in different ways in every region of our country are performed in different genres and forms as they go down to the regions and even to the villages. It is thought that folk dance melodies in the folk music repertoire should be examined and recorded with the same precision as folk music melodies. The fact that there were no studies on rhythmic examination of folk-dance melodies played in the Erzincan region had an important role in the emergence of this study. This study was produced from the master's thesis titled "A Rhythmic Examination of Erzincan Region Folk Dances Melodies" prepared by me in 2021. In general, the data were obtained as a result of the literature screening method and interviews with the source persons in the field. A total of 14 works belonging to men's bar folk dances played in the Erzincan region, which is the subject of the research, have been identified. The rhythmic structure and rhythm patterns of these works were examined and presented through the rhythm notes of these works.
