Human resources management should get out of personnel management and be aware of the added value of human resources to the business. It should act with this awareness and give more importance to personnel development than other departments. It should also support the development of other departments within itself. While modernism is drowning in rules and hierarchy, postmodernism is a more liberal movement that does not like to stay within limits. Therefore, business management has also been affected by postmodernism and has adopted the understanding of widespread management by spreading to various regions, not one-stop management, which has flexible rules by getting rid of strict rules. This study was created with a literature review and aimed to guide managers and researchers. With the understanding of the importance of human resources by businesses, it has been seen that various investments have been made for the training and development of human resources. However, besides these investments, it can be said that businesses that engage in activities that improve their employees' mental health and benefit their mental health can be more effective and efficient compared to their competitors
