The aim of this study is to compare the depression and hopelessness levels of parents with children who have autism disability in Turkey and Azerbaijan, and the level of depression and hopelessness in parents with autistic children living in which country, and the effects of factors such as psychological factors and sociodemographic data of parents in both countries that may cause this is to identify them. In this direction, Beck Hopelessness Scale (BDS), Beck Depression Scale (BDI) and demographic information form were applied to parents of children with autism. As a result of the information form we applied, the depression and hopelessness levels of parents with autistic children who participated in our study in two countries differ in terms of gender, education, income, assistant teacher and two countries. At the same time, a positive relationship is observed between depression and hopelessness levels in parents of children with autism.
